Here are a list of bad things that happened yesterday. It was a wonderful day still so I wasn’t very bummed about any of them.
I think there were a few more but I can’t recall them. I will add them later if I remember anything.
So my oldest brother told me a few years ago that I am deathly allergic to bees. He said that when I was younger I got stung in the neck and I almost died. I am not sure if this is true (although my mom backed him up so it probably is). Well, ever since he told me that, I have been extremely afraid of them. Today in the office there was a wasp. It was scary (weirdly, Dave was watching “Bee Movie” at the time.) but Dave and John Henry saved my life and took the Wasp outside.

Here are the two heroes in action!

Meet & Potatoes was at SecretPenguin/What-Cheer this month and it was amazing. I met a lot of really nice designers. It was a really really good time.

I had to duck out a little early though to play a show at Slowdown with Honeybee. Our good friends Pomegranates and Capgun Coup played as well, it was a really fun show. Capgun Coup is soooo amazing.

Photos courtesy of Dave! I was too busy having fun to take any!
Amy bothered me for a few weeks to design her some buttons. I like how they turned out. Her new stuff is amazing, check it out here. I did the website and logo and such a few months ago.

This week has been really busy at work. I ordered some new shirts for Bear Country and Honeybee so hopefully I will post some photos of them next week.
Micah and Hollie get married in a few hours. I am excited. They are two of the best people I know.
Welp, back to work!
I spotted this penguin at O.J’s (a pretty good Mexican restaurant up north). Can you see him in this photo?

Here, is a closer look. Can you spot him yet?

There he is! Awe, Rebecca Frebu would be proud!

Lindsay and I made a giant piece of paper and a giant envelope the other night. I will explain the project more once it is completed. For now you can just assume we are dorks.

This week Honeybee was the fifth installment of the City Weekly’s “Meeting the Band” column. They interviewed us after our show last Friday at the Box Awesome in Lincoln. Here is the first page of it. Will Simons did the interview, he’s a great guy, and the amazing Lindsay Trapnell took the photograph! Mom, if you want to read it they are available at gas stations and Hu Hot’s all around town!
We set up some blogs so that are Mom’s could see what we do from day to day. This is my first post. Hi Mom!
